A Woodland Dream
Dreams are a very interesting phenomenon. We usually don't have any control over them, not consciously anyways. They tend to be projections of our subconsciousness. When we think back to our dreams, we never remember them completely. And the parts we remember tend to be blurred, obscure and hard to make any sense of.
Walking through a woodland on a foggy day reminds me of being in a dream. The eeriness of the silence combined with the murky surroundings feels surreal, like being in a dream.
The images in this project are captured in the woodlands of Quantock Hills in Somerset. With these images, I wanted to capture the feeling of being a dream; the vagueness that makes you question whether what you are seeing is real or not.
